We know Umbria is a long way to travel, and that only makes us more grateful you're willing to make the trip. Having the people we love most surrounding us on our wedding day is really all we want.

With Andrew from Orangeville, Ontario, and Meg from Long Island, New York and both going to school far away from home before eventually settling in Baltimore, Maryland we now have loved ones scattered across North America. This was always going to be a destination wedding for someone, so we figured, why not make it a beautiful trip for everyone?

Some of you might be asking, "Why Italy?" We've always loved traveling and finding new places together, with quite a few adventures conveniently tacked onto Andrew's lacrosse tournaments. Italy had been on both of our lists for a while and became the center of our search. Andrew went to work Googling anything he could and scouring Reddit for venues in Italy. We soon had a plan to tour Umbria and Tuscany by car to find somewhere that felt right to us to host our special day. When we visited this past spring, we found Assisi and fell in love with Castello di Petrata as soon we arrived.

We were hoping to find somewhere that felt special, and could also bring everyone together in one place, and Castello di Petrata gave us exactly that. The city is beautiful, the people are so warm and welcoming, and the venue is unlike anywhere else. We felt something special here, and we hope you feel it too.
