In the following years, we moved into our first apartment together, travelled the world beside one another, and have seen our own families fall in love with our partner, growing closer every step of the way. Whether it was going to Prague for the first time with limited information or realizing when we arrived in Switzerland that we didn’t bring money or our debit cards, we have always felt like anything is possible side by side.

In late fall 2024, we moved from our apartment to our current place in Hereford. The move came with a realization that we (and Ollie) now had a home and a place we could see ourselves growing with it. Shortly after, Andrew decided that it was time for the next step, and what turned out to be a 4 hour long dinner before he finally piped up to ask for Pat and Jane’s blessing to marry their daughter.

Come September 14th, 2025 Andrew had a ring in his pocket and a plan to take Meg back to Harpers Ferry, WV to a place where they had one of their early dates - a day Meg has always said she fell in love with him. After an uphill hike to a place where they usually stopped for sandwiches, Andrew got down on one knee and asked the question. After a (quite long) trek back to the car, we made our way back to Meg’s parents house where both of our parents and Meg’s twin sister, Sara, were waiting. We spent the night with dinner at our favourite restaurant, Peerce’s and then finished with a drink back at The Bluebird and the exact table where we had our first date.

Many moments have brought us together, and more have brought us to this moment where we get to spend a period of time celebrating our love with our loved ones. We look forward the piece of our story that is our wedding celebration and the many pieces of our story that are yet to be known.
